TRUMPETS/SHOFARS part 2
Trumpet 6: Second Woe – part 2 the two witnesses.
Rev 11:1-
Rod=shebet=scepter=sign of authority
Measure=middah=measure a portion Portion or the groom’s inheritance given to the bride’s father. The bride price.
John was ordered to measure the covered portion of the Temple. Not the open air part. So John isn’t really measuring the Temple but the group of people “…them that worship theirin…” That group of people is His bride because they are in the covered area of the Temple. That represents the Chuppah der which the soon to be married couple stood. The other people in the outer court are the servants and guests standing before the throne in Revelation 7 – between seal 6 and 7. The people is the outer court are believers, but not His bride.
Bride=kallah=perfection, completion, made whole and prepared. That Christ’s bride. Satan’s bride is the opposite and uses the other part of the Hebrew word kallah. Destroyed, to be consumed and perish
Rev 11:3-
Hebrews 9:27 states everyone will die once. A possible exception are the people living when He returns. Enoch and Elijah didn’t die but were taken straight to heaven. (Gen 5:24, Heb 11:5, 2Kings 2:11-
Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
The day of the Lord has yet to come. Some say John Baptist was Elijah but John lived in the glorious day of His ministry; not dreadful judgments. The time gap of 2000 years between John the Baptist and the dreadful day is just unlikely large. Plus there are two not just one witness.
Enoch VI-
Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
Elijah and Enoch had the same powers millennia ago.
Rev 11:7-
The 2 witnesses likely arrive on the scene at Jewish New Year. Die 3.5 years later on Passover and are resurrected during Firsts fruits. Great parallel with Jesus. (half a day difference)
Trumpet 7: Third Woe
Rev 11:14-
1Cor 15:51-
Jesus returns (harvests_ for His bride. This trumpet is mostly an announcement of His coming just before the 1st Bowl judgment. The wedding guests (grapes) will remain on earth during the final 3 ½ years.
