THE SEVEN SEALS
The seals aren’t seals from clay as on Roman documents but more like “speaking oaths”. It’s related to the groom reading the Ketubah (wedding contract) to the bride. The whole Rev 5 is identifying Jesus as that groom. Jesus is reading aloud the seven sections of the Ketubah for all guests to hear as every Jewish groom did. Link If the bride is found unworthy a punishment is issued.
