Objections -
Objection: The 6+1 calendar is in use since creation.
That’s an assumption this sites tries to disprove.
A continuous seven-
Objection: The Jews refused to fight to defend the Temple on Saturday in 70AD according to historians.
Because the Jewish week was 7 days and the Roman week 8 days it must have been an accidental overlap. In 70AD the first day of the week was Saturday and Sunday was the second day of the week as the picture shows. It’s a calendar found in baths constructed between 79-
It was not until the 4th century during the council of Nicea that the week as we know it today was standardized.
It seems as if some spiritual genius having control over the pagan world had so ordered things that the heathen planetary week should be introduced just at the right time for [Mithraism,] the most popular Sun cult of all ages to come along and exalt the day of the Sun as a day above and more sacred than all the rest. Surely this was not accidental. Robert L. Odom, Sunday in Roman Paganism, p. 157
Objection: The moon was created on the 4th day.
That’s true and so was the sun with is the base for the solar calendar. The sun is used for timekeeping; to mark of day and night but without a sun there is only darkness. Still the creation account mentions day and night on the days preceding the creation of sun and moon. So this objection is as troublesome for the 6+1 calendar as it is for the lunar calendar.
Objection: Your calendar has more than 6 work days in a row.
Not so. In fact it has more rest/worship days than the 6+1 calendar.
6 days work is a maximum and 1 day rest is a minimum. The 6+1 pattern is frequently broken by festivals. But also by sickness, disability, pregnancy, being rich, etc
Exod 20:9 Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:
Exod 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:
Objection: Not all days are counted.
All days are counted; it’s just that there are more flavors of types of days than work, rest and festival day.
For example, while a New Moon Day (NMD) is a worship day there are no travel and cooking restrictions
Objection: History shows there was never any dispute over a fixed cycling week instead of ‘your’ week.
At every step in the course of the apostasy, at every step taken in adopting the forms of sun worship, and against the adoption and the observance of Sunday itself, there had been constant protest by all real Christians. Those who remained faithful to Christ [the Saviour] and to the truth of the pure word of . . . [Yahuwah] observed the Sabbath of the Lord according to the commandment, and according to the word of . . . [Elohim] which sets forth the Sabbath as the sign by which the Lord, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, is distinguished from all other gods. These accordingly protested against every phase and form of sun worship. Others compromised, especially in the East, by observing both Sabbath and Sunday. But in the west under Roman influences and under the leadership of the church and the bishopric of Rome, Sunday alone was adopted and observed.
A. T. Jones, The Two Republics, pp. 320-
Lots of compromises in that paragraph. Some worshiped only on Saturday, only on Sunday, some on both. Surely some sort of transition. But, agreed, none of that proves Saturday was or wasn’t fixed.
We shall be taken for Persians [Mithraists], perhaps . . . The reason for this, I suppose, is that it is known that we pray towards the east . . . Likewise, if we devote the day of the Sun to festivity (from a far different reason from Sun worship), we are in a second place from those who devote the day of Saturn, themselves also deviating by way of a Jewish custom of which they are ignorant.
Tertullian, Apologia.
Worship on Saturday (saturn day) was not Jewish custom.
Objection: God won’t allow His commands/truth will be forgotten. & God isn’t the author of confusion.
There are thousands of denomination that all partly do things differently.
I’m sure everyone involved worships God the way they think He commanded it. But obviously most are wrong. So God has allowed people to forget His truth.
Hos 2:11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
Lam 2:6 And he has violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he has destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD has caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and has despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.
Hos 2:11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
Objection: The Jews keep a weekly Sabbath that proves the 6+1 week.
Not so according to the Jews:
The New Moon is still, and the Sabbath originally was, dependent upon the lunar cycle . . . Originally, the New Moon was celebrated in the same way as the Sabbath; gradually it became less important while the Sabbath became more and more a day of religion and humanity, of religious meditation and instruction, of peace and delight of the soul. (Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, "Holidays," p. 410.)
New moon was celebrated. That alone proves the current Jewish calendar isn’t the same as the ancient one.
It [the Sabbath] was probably originally connected in some manner with the cult of the moon, as indeed is suggested by the frequent mention of Sabbath and New-
www.jewishencyclopedia.com, "Sabbath."
With the development of the importance of the Sabbath as a day of consecration and the emphasis laid upon the significant number seven, the week became more and more divorced from its lunar connection . . . . Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, Vol. X, "Week," p. 482.
While the start of the Jewish month is still strongly connected to the new moon; the weeks are totally disconnected. Just check a Jewish calendar and see that the first day of the new month can be any day of the week.
Maimonides, a Medieval Jewish scholar, and most other Jewish chronologers agree that the modern Jewish calendar is based upon the "mean motions of the sun and moon, the true [calendar] having been set aside." (Maimonides, Kiddusch Ha-

Several….
Sunday
When the 7th day/Sabbath day falls on another date as assumed, that automatically means the 1st day falls on another date too. That’s important for Sunday worshippers.
Crucifixion day
It’s commonly accepted Jesus was crucified near full moon. It’s also commonly accepted He was crucified on the 14th on the Jewish calendar that was in use during Jesus’ time.
Exod 12:6 And you shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
...
Exod 12:11 And thus shall you eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover.
Opinions on the crucifixion day range from the 4th to the 6th day of the week. And indeed depending on the year of crucifixion there is a full moon on all of those days. And because Passover is linked to the full moon, Passover moves through the days of the week depending on the year.

Pinpointing the year of crucifixion
Many can pinpoint the crucifixion year for several (good) reason with an accuracy of 2 or 3 years. If that person believes He was crucified on the 6th day, the look up the year in which the (nearly) full moon occurred on the 6th day. That usually works fine. Same for those who believe in a 4th or 5th day of the week crucifixion. That kind of pinpointing is not possible with the Luni-
Unleavened Bread and Pentecost
Another ongoing discussion is when the Feast on Unleavened Bread starts. It’s clear it’s start is related to a certain Sabbath. But which Sabbath? The very next day after Passover? The next weekly Sabbath which depending on the year may fall 1-
The start of the Pentecost count is also closely related to when Unleavened Bread starts.
Some say the day following the 14th is always a Sabbath because it’s a holy day. So when Passover happens to fall on Tuesday in a certain year, the next day, Wednesday, is declared a/the Sabbath. That’s problematic for those who believe Pentecost always falls on the 1st day of the week.
If the Sabbath ‘changes’ the date of Pentecost changes too.
None of those problems exist with the Luni-
