Luke 15:8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if
she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek
diligently till she find it?
The coin didn't make itself lost. It didn't even know it
was lost. But still it's saved.
(whoops that is just one verse...)
Jeremiah 17:9 Crooked is the heart
above all things, And it is incurable --
who doth know it?
Ezekiel 36:26 And I have
given to you a new heart, And a new
spirit I give in your midst, And I have turned aside the heart of stone
out of your flesh, And I have given to you a heart of flesh.
Psalm 49:14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them;
and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty
shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
Psalm 49:15
But God will redeem my soul from the power
of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
they: They refers to unholy persons.
Psalm
49:10-13 For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish
person perish, and leave their wealth to others. 11 Their inward thought
is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all
generations; they call their lands after their own names. 12 Nevertheless
man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish. 13
This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
redeem
Meaning: 1) to
ransom, redeem, rescue, deliver 1a) (Qal) to ransom 1b) (Niphal) to be ransomed
1c) (Hiphil) to allow one to be ransomed 1d) (Hophal) redeemed
Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not
man for the sabbath:
Mark 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also
of the sabbath.
This one is less direct. It requires a bit more
interpretation. IMO
The above two verses combined:
And He said unto them,
The Son was made for man, and not man for the Son:
So Jesus isn't about we reaching for Father.
But Father reaching
out for us.
And that's a large issue in the ET vs UR debate.
PS: The above is not
intended disrespectful in any way toward Father, Son, HS...
ACVExodus 21
33 And if a man shall open a
pit, or if a man shall dig a pit and not cover it, and an ox or a donkey
falls in it,
34 the
owner of the pit shall make it good; he shall give money to the owner of
it, and the dead [beast] shall be his.
The owner
of the pit has to pay. Saying it the ox walked in by it's own free
will doesn't stick in God's courtroom.
God created everything. That includes:
- Serpents.
(pit)
- Forbidden tree. (pit)
- Stupid people that eat from forbidden trees.
(ox)
God dug a hole and didn't
cover it. The stupid ox (Adam) fell in in the pit.
God should have put
a fence around that tree. Or a bunch of angels with flaming swords.
The owner of that tree, God, is responsible. The
owner has to pay the debt.
ACVActs 10:34
And having opened his mouth, Peter said, In
truth, I am overwhelmed that God is not partial,
ACVActs
9:4 And after
falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why do
thou persecute me?
On the road to Damascus, Jesus hater Saul was
converted by force. He got saved without doing any seeking for Jesus at
all.
Because God is no respector of persons He'll do the
same with anyone if needed.
