Did Jesus Speak Twice as Much About Hell?

For those who parrot the phrase "Jesus spoke twice as much about Hell then He did about Heaven"...

HERE ARE THE FACTS:

1. The word "heaven" is found a total of 691 times in the entire Bible.
2. The word "hell" is found a total of 54 times in the entire Bible.
3. The word "heaven" is found a total of 277 times in the New Testament.
4. The word "hell" is found a total of 23 times in the New Testament.
5. The King James Gospels* attributes the word "heaven" to Jesus 121 times.
6. The King James Gospels* attributes the word "hell" to Jesus 15 times.

*Matthew, Mark, Luke… “hell” not found in Gospel of John

Of the 15 times the KJV attributes the word "hell" to Jesus, 11 times it is translated from Gehenna, and 4 times it is translated from Hades.

Greek Gehenna-from the Hebrew Ge [Be] Hinnom,meaning "valley of [the son of] Hinnom". A valley located east of Jerusalem known as Hinnom Valley.

Greek Hades- from the Hebrew Sheol,meaning "the unseen, imperceptible", and denotes the place or state of the dead. Hades/Sheol are also translated as "grave"* many times in the Bible.

*How can the same word mean 'grave' and 'hell'?

In Conclusion

Jesus spoke of Heaven over a hundred times. How many times did Jesus really speak about the "Christian Hell"? NEVER!
