Trumpet 6:  Second Woe – part 1 Magog

Rev 9:12-21 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,  Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like to serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

At this point the 3rd Temple is ready. Some information is given about the devils released from the pit. This 6th trumpet is split in two parts. This one and the rest after the thunders. One third of mankind is a killed by an army of 200 million under command of Russia/Magog (Rev 9:15-18). The army looks like an alliance fallen angels (the beasts) and humans (the riders)

Rev 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

A voice coming from the horns of the golden altar

I heard a voice coming from the horns of the golden altar that is before God.

I don't know why the horns speak, but they seem to provide safety

1Kings 1:50-51 But Adonijah, in fear of Solomon, went and took hold of the horns of the altar. Then Solomon was told, “Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon and is clinging to the horns of the altar.

How can a non-priest enter the Temple without being executed?

Bound at Euphrates

Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.

Bound has two primary meanings:

a] Tied, imprisoned or similar.

b] Forbidden to do something.

So the angels could be imprisoned near the river but it would be more likely they would be imprisoned in the abyss together with the other angels and locusts. A more likely interpretation is that they were not allowed to cross the river.

Release the four angels

That could simply mean they are given permission to cross the river into the land promised to Abram.

Genesis 15:18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.

Red, blue and yellow breastplates

Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur.

The breastplates of the horses have covenant colors.  Red=Blood, Yellow=Salt/Friendship and Blue=Sandal/Inheritance. It's not in the text but I think the horses are black. A combination of the three colors.

Fire, smoke and sulfur coming out of their mouths

A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths.

Fire: Refining and testing --> add verses

Smoke: Anger ---> Psalm 18:7-8

Sulpher:

Tails like snakes

for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury.

Genesis 3:15 and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed: he shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

--> The snake strikes the heel

Genesis 5:24-26 Gradually her days came to the full for giving birth, and, look! twins were in her belly. Then the first came out red all over like an official garment of hair; so they called his name E'sau. And after that his brother came out and his hand was holding onto the heel of E'sau; so he called his name Jacob. And Isaac was sixty years old at her giving them birth.

--> Esau and war against Israel are closely related. See seal 2. Is this about reducing Israel? The next verse seems to imply so

Isa 9:15 “The elders and prominent men are the head, the prophets who teach lies are the tail.”

--> The striking with the tails seem to imply false teachings. The tails of the horses being snakes gives an even stronger link to satan(ic) teachings

The horses likely are in only the area promised to Abram because this Trumpet mentions the angels bound at the border of that area.

“The Mahdi will offer the religion of Islam to the Jews and Christians; if they accept it they will be spared, otherwise they will be killed.”  (Ayatollah Ibrahim Amini)

John 16:2-3 a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God. They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.
